For about just under a year now I’ve been working with Natures Way Foods, a UK salad and fruit manufacturer on a variety of projects. One of which was to write recipes for a new product range called ‘Lasting Leaf‘, the leafs are blanched in warm water and this stops the ends going pink and brown after the bag has been opened – giving an extra 2 days shelf life to the product.
