To celebrate Divertimenti’s 50th anniversary join some of today’s top chefs and food writers for the Divertimenti & Daunt Books Culinary Salon. Tickets* are now on sale for five exciting events on 24, 25 & 26 September and 2 & 3 October 2013. Seating is limited so book early to avoid disappointment.


 24th September: Books, Blogs & Supper Clubs: New Voices in Food Writing – Join new voices in food writing, Deb Perelman (The Smitten Kitchen), James Ramsden (Do-Ahead Dinners), Rosie Lovell (Supper with Rosie) and Ellie Grace (Kitchen & Co.) as they discuss with Tim Hayward the changing world of food writing and what inspires their cooking and writing.

25th September: Marylebone: London’s Foodie Village – Chantal Coady (Rococo: Mastering the Art of Chocolate), Patricia Michelson (Cheese), Fran Warde (Ginger Pig Farmhouse Cookbook) and Camilla Schneideman (The Divertimenti Cookbook) talk with Tim Hayward about what makes Marylebone Village such a foodie hotspot.

26th September: London: The World in One City -London is a cultural and culinary melting pot with cuisines from around the world vying for our attention. Join chefs and food writers Diana Henry (Salt Sugar Smoke), Maria Elia (Smashing Plates), Martin Morales (Ceviche: Peruvian Kitchen), Atul Kochhar (Atul’s Curries of the World) and Florence Knight (One: A Cook and Her Cupboard) for a lively discussion with Tim Hayward about our growing appetite for different cuisines and what influences their own cooking today.

2nd October: In Conversation with Bee Wilson – Our kitchens are mirrors that reflect what we eat, where we live, and how we think about food. Bee Wilson, author of Consider the Fork, discusses the fascinating history of invention in the kitchen with Tim Hayward.

3rd October: In Conversation with Nicholas Lander & Joe Warwick – What goes on behind the scenes of our favourite restaurants? What makes one restaurant hot and another not? And where do chefs go when they’re hungry? Join Nicholas Lander, author of The Art of the Restaurateur, and Joe Warwick, editor of the hugely popular Where Chefs Eat, in conversation with Tim Hayward for an insider’s peak at restaurants that promises to whet your appetite.
