New research conducted for Farmhouse Breakfast Week 2013 shows that nearly half of us (47%) skip breakfast at some point during the week and 15 per cent do not eat it at all! These figures are surprising, considering that scientific research has shown that eating breakfast can make you healthier and happier. We have a variety of reasons for why we skip our morning meal, which include not feeling hungry in the morning, preferring to stay in bed and not liking breakfast foods. For mums in particular, more than a third (39%) say getting other members of the family ready and household chores take priority over their first meal of the day.
So, come and see me on Saturday from 10:30am to 3pm at the AGA Shop Bath, lots of offers in store and I will be there to talk about AGA and all things breakfast. I will be cooking lots of yummy breakfast foods too.
