The inaugural Cake & Bake Show held this weekend was a sell out success! The response to tickets was overwhelming as soon as they went on sale in July and following an increase in floor space and an extension in the opening times, more than 21,000 baking fans were welcomed through the door during the two day event, held at London’s Earls Court.
Britain’s largest ever show dedicated to sugar craft, cake decorating and baking was a roaring success. Demonstrations from all the contemporary stars of cake making and baking, including Paul Hollywood, Mary Berry, Richard Bertinet, Eric Lanlard, Paul Young and Claire Clarke, took place along with appearances from the current contestants and past winners from The Great British Bake Off.
I’m glad to hear that the The Cake & Bake Show will be coming to Manchester for three days from 5th-7th April 2013, before returning to London next September.
The Cake & Bake Shows offer everything the home baker, sugarcrafter, cake eater, amateur enthusiast or professional baker could need, and provide baking fans of all ages a chance to come together for inspiration, eating, encouragement, education and entertainment.
