Ever fancied trying a new cuisine but not sure what it is? Want the views of others who have been there? Meet MenuSpring – a clever app that not only lists London restaurants by cuisine or country, but shows the menu and has ‘tasty’ reviews on it too.
MenuSpring was started by Ali Meruani in late 2011 as part of his MBA thesis at London Business School and Matt Kuppers joined Ali in Summer 2012, in that short space of time it has become the UK’s largest restaurant food portal with almost 7,000 restaurants listed and 400,000 individual menu items searchable all across London including 5 food markets covering 100 food stalls.
What sets MenuSpring apart is that people can search for cuisine types, restaurant name and also individual dishes. MenuSpring provides bloggers and publishers with a free restaurant widget that allows them to show restaurant menus on their/blog site
