Happy New Year! We may have had it 6 weeks ago in the UK, but for my Chinese colleagues it’s today. In today’s blog I thought I would highlight how we can get authentic Asian flavours that are made int he UK, meet Karimix.
Established in 1984, the company launched with a handful of these treasured, inherited recipes at a time when it was rare to find a decent ethnic meal.
The creation of Karimix recipes are greatly influenced and evolved from the unique mixed heritage of the owner and chief creator, a Peranakan, whose origination is from Singapore which is the melting pot of a mixture of Far and South-East Asian cultures and fusion cuisine.
Karimix has since built a reputation for innovation, quality and service. Our award- winning recipes offer a wide range of mouth watering flavours from the sublime and tantalizing taste of the South-East to an eclectic fusion of flavours.
Karimix’s products are hand-made, at our accredited site, using only the finest and freshest ingredients which are GM free with no artificial additives.
Karimix has won with over fifteen Guild of Fine Foods commendations for its unique recipes. In July 2012 we gained another gold awards for our new Murgh Mukhani curry paste.
Karimix is strong in product development (NPD) with our hand-cooked recipes and skills that are much sought after by chefs, the foodservice industry world-wide as well as fine food retailers. The flavour range for NPD is not restricted to SE Asian flavours as this is the signature of the Karimix brand.
Karimix also creates new flavour profiles for various retail brands on the market and help with identifying the next new trend to add to the range.
The Karimix brand can be found from South America to Asia and is growing from strength to strength.
