When a mummy and daddy love each other very much…. or so the old adage used to go. I assure you Angus the AGA City60 was not found in a cabbage patch as we don’t have those in Peckham (the posh part), nor was he delivered by a stalk. I will have you know he was delivered by AGA London. So when asked about the birth of my bundle of joy, I’m booming with pride to tell people the real story. And, it’s on TV tonight.
What is the word for both happy and sad in equal measures? Do remember this is a happy time, it’s my brothers wedding. Some could say sentimental, but thats a bit wet, emotional covers too many factors that were not relevant. Angus the AGA was not there.
A Romantic night for 2 occurs between Dr Thomas and I every now and again. Finally I’m jet lag free, my favourite German Dr and I had a night out in Soho for dinner and a proper catchup. Other couples give each other flowers, chocolates and meet at restaurants, last night we met in the Krankenhaus (German for Hospital). Charming. Well, if we are playing this game, I’m so providing the chocolates. Kinder Surprise or Kinder Überraschung as Dr Thomas calls it. And what an Überraschung we had! Dr Thomas ended up having a ‘HooHa’. Now, it’s not every day a German Dr in London has a HooHa, is it?
When you have young ears in the home it’s best to use words you don’t want them to repeat. Angus the AGA City60 is the grand old age of 4 weeks now. What most people have not realised is that if AGA cookers had ears, the things they would hear. Life and home revolves around the AGA, and it’s the same in our flat too, Angus the AGA City60 hears everything…. but not last night, the floor needed bleaching.
“Does it have a grill?” That was the first question Dave asked when he came over for dinner. “HE – Dave” was my answer. Yes Angus the AGA City60 has a grill and also has 2 ovens, a hot plates, a warming plate and can cook everything you have ever thought of cooking. Trust me, I’ve cooked it all! But, there is more to Angus the AGA City60 than that!
I live in South East London, Peckham (the posh part) with my other half, Thomas a German Doctor and our 2 cats called Gloria and Gaynor. We have a lovely flat, but for my job the kitchen is ridiculously small, to be honest, it’s the size of an en-suite. However we now have an AGA City60 called Angus. And he’s beautiful.
