Best in the World invites British Food Brands to join him in China

World Food Traveller James McIntosh is off to promote British Food and Manufacturing in China.


This June ’Best Cookbook Author in the World’ award winner James McIntosh will be starting a 70 day trip promoting British food brands and manufacturing in China and South East Asia. He is offering a great opportunity for British brands to get in touch and include their products in this epic project.

James’, (who is also the brand ambassador for AGA), culinary journey will be extensively documented on TV, online and in print.

James said:

This is a fantastic opportunity for British brands to be promoted to a Chinese audience. I am proud to be British and even prouder to be showcasing quality British food across this ancient land. I have spent the past 10 years promoting British Food Brands and Manufacturing across the world so I would like as many brands a possible to get in touch if they are interested in getting involved.

James’ food travels started at the age of 18 when he toured Siberia, since then he has travelled across Europe and into the Baltic States, Japan, Middle East, Australia, North America, North Africa and China. Launching the AGA PRO+ in the USA and Canada as well as co-presenting a 20 part TV series are some of the highlights of his achievements.

Whilst Great Britain prepare for the 2012 Games, James will be starting his journey in the previous Olympic venue, The Bird’s Nest Stadium in Beijing, where he is representing Great Britain in the International Culinary Competition.

The competition will start my tour with a bang and I will be working with the best of British food throughout. It’s quite ironic to be in the previous Olympic stadium whilst the excitement builds up just miles from where I normally live.
