You will have noticed through reading my blogs that I do a lot of work for AGA Rangemaster. What One of the many things I love about working for AGA Rangemaster is the history and heritage. But more so the fact that the products are made in Britain. A country I’m very proud to live in. My home.
Today AGA Rangemaster announced the launch of its ‘Homemade in Leamington Spa’ campaign, a celebration of the best of British manufacturing today and the rich heritage of innovation in the Midlands.
The company’s original Kitchener, designed by Sidney Flavel in 1830, was a revolutionary invention that changed the world – for the first time, heat was evenly distributed and controllable, meaning that the art of home cooking was changed forever. This heritage continues in Leamington Spa today, mixing engineering and design skills honed over generations with the appetite to meet changing consumer needs to create kitchen products that are at home in any home – with an unmistakable style that says ‘Homemade in Leamington Spa’.
AGA Rangemaster has remained at the heart of the community in Leamington Spa since 1830, and today employs over 573 skilled workers in this region. The Group continues to support the Midlands community with a wide range of initiatives.
William McGrath, CEO of AGA Rangemaster Group plc, comments: “The launch of our ‘Homemade in Leamington Spa’ Campaign reflects our dedication to keep our regional heritage at the heart of the company as we continue to grow, both in the UK and internationally, and to promote the manufacturing skills that the Group represents in Leamington Spa and the Midlands.”
